Product Description:

PRECLEAN 2578 is a liquid product used to pretreat cooling water systems. It is a blend of several materials, including inorganic salt, an organic corrosion inhibitor, a dispersant, and an oil emulsifier.

PRECLEAN 2578 is uniquely designed to pretreat both new and older systems that have been chemically or mechanically cleaned. PRECLEAN 2578 prepares all metal surfaces in the system for long-term corrosion protection. It initially removes oil and grease from all metal surfaces to permit uniform layering of the temporary passivating film. It aids in the prevention of flash corrosion when the system is most vulnerable to corrosive attack.

Directions of Use and Dosage:

Use the dosage of 5-10% mixture solution depending on the grade of contamination or rust scale.              

Degreasing and descaling of water systems:

1. Drain system to be cleaned if necessary.

2. Inspect as completely as possible to determine the degree of contamination and general condition of system.

3. Fill with fresh water to minimum lever.

4. Add a solution 5-10% strength of the cleaner.

5. Circulate through the system for 8 to 24 hours at the maximum temperature allowed.

6. Drain system completely and flush thoroughly the entire system and all components with fresh water until effluent is clear.

7. Reinspect to determine results of the cleaning process.

8. If unsatisfactory, repeat steps 3 through 7.

9. Refill system with distillate or good quality fresh water and dose the required amount of cooling or boiler water treatment.

10. Test system on a regular basis to ensure chemical residuals are maintained with specific limits.

Storage:

Pls storage the products in cool and dry environment and keep aways from people no sense with it especially for children.

It should be protected in cold climates to prevent freezing. Frozen product may be thawed with drum heaters with no adverse effect on the product. Before using, mix well since the product may form two distinct layers upon melting.

The recommended maximum in-plant storage limit is 12 months.
